For landscapers and garden firms
Tree records, quotes and tasks for landscapers
When a garden job includes trees, record each tree with a photo, send a quote that your client signs online, and turn the work into tasks with reminders. Start the job from the customer’s name and address. You do not draw a boundary.

From the first visit to the finished job
Three steps on your phone. Do the office work on the web desk if you prefer.
- 1
Start the job
Type the customer’s name and address. That is the job. You do not need a map boundary or a survey grid.
- 2
Record the trees
Each photo becomes a tree, placed by GPS. Write the work to do in a line, or say it in a voice note.
- 3
Quote and plan
Send a proposal. When your client signs it online, the work becomes tasks with due dates and reminders on iPhone and iPad.
What it does on a job
Customer jobs
Each job starts from a name and address, so you can find it again when the customer calls back.
Photos and voice notes per tree
Photos stay with the tree they show. Talk instead of typing, and the note is transcribed for you. You can switch transcription off.
Quotes signed online
Send a proposal from the job. Your client reads it and signs or declines online. A signed proposal turns the work into tasks.
Tasks with repeats and reminders
Give each piece of work a due date. Set a repeat for a return visit, for example every 12 months. Reminders arrive on iPhone and iPad.
A link and QR code for the crew
Share the job by link or QR code. Your crew opens it without an account: the map, directions and the work tree by tree.
A printable job sheet
One page for the crew, with the work tree by tree. The phone makes it without signal.
Xero export
On the web desk, signed work exports as a CSV that Xero imports as draft invoices.
Protected trees marked
Mark a tree as TPO or in a conservation area once you have checked with the council. The mark shows on the record and in the tree schedule.
An enquiry form for your website
A public enquiry page with your logo. Link it from your website, and each enquiry arrives with the customer’s details.
Works offline
No signal at the end of the garden? Trees, photos, measurements and voice notes wait on your phone and upload when you are back in signal.
Before you try it
Tree Atlas is about the trees on the job
It does not replace the rest of your landscaping software. Use it for the trees: the record, the quote, the work and the crew.
See Tree Atlas for tree work- It does not design planting schemes or price materials.
- It does not send invoices or take card payments. Signed work exports to Xero.
- It does not look up Tree Preservation Orders. Check with the council first.
- Plans for larger crews are coming soon. Solo is up to 2 users.

Do I need to know BS 5837?
No. A works job only needs the customer's name and address, the trees and the work. BS 5837 surveys are there if you or your arborist do them.
Does it do quotes and invoices?
Quotes, yes. Send a proposal from the job: your client reads it and signs or declines online, and a signed proposal turns the work into tasks. On the web desk, signed work exports as a CSV that Xero imports as draft invoices. Tree Atlas does not send invoices itself.
Can my crew see the job?
Yes. Share the job by link or QR code from Site details › Share job. Your crew opens it without an account and sees the map, directions and the work tree by tree. You can cancel the link at any time.
Does it check for Tree Preservation Orders?
No. Tree Atlas does not look up Tree Preservation Orders or conservation areas. Check with the local planning authority, then mark the tree as TPO or in a conservation area on its record. The mark shows on the record and in the tree schedule.
Is there an Android app?
Built and in testing, not on Google Play yet. Today you can use Tree Atlas in your phone's browser, and on iPhone and iPad from the App Store. The web desk is at treeatlas.app/desk.
Does it work without signal?
Yes. Trees, photos, tree and site notes and voice notes wait on your phone and upload when you are back in range. Save the site's map first in Me › Device › Offline maps. Satellite imagery needs signal.
